The readers of 417 Magazine named the Kirby & Bambi VanBurch show “Branson’s Best Show”! Notice they didn’t qualify it with the word magic? That’s because while some people might start out thinking they’re at a magic show, they quickly realize they’re experiencing a show packed full of big time production
numbers, dancing, hilarious comedy, and of course HUGE illusions. Even better is the warm rapport
with the audience that Kirby VanBurch, and his wife Bambi, bring to the stage.
No matter your age… you end up grinning at Kirby’s obvious delight in sharing with you all his childhood dreams—from a princess bride with a unicorn to a hearty har har as a pirate; you’re caught up in Kirby’s Magical World!
It’s truly a family affair as Bambi adds a special brand of pixie dust to the show with a Tinker Bell smile and a vanishing magical unicorn. From her rendition of the famous Tut illusion to her astonishing
mind-reading, Bambi shows why she was named the Female Magician of the Year by the International Magicians Society.
Kirby has also reaped numerous awards. After a command performance, the Princess of Thailand dubbed Kirby the “Prince of Magic”. His accolades also include the prestigious International Magician of the Year in 1999, the Branson Critic award as “Best Magic Show”, “Best Branson Show” by 417 Magazine, and year after year his show has been voted “Best Magic Show” by the readers of the Springfield NewsLeader. In 2007, the International Magicians Society also voted Kirby Entertainer of the Year.
From a helicopter appearing in five seconds flat to assistants cut in half, Kirby establishes why he is such a legendary magician. Amazingly enough Kirby and Bambi add new illusions every year to this thrill-a-second production. There’s also a menagerie of exotic animals including Royal White Tigers, Leopards, Lions, ducks, and more.
